Hero Jumpers So Good You Won't Want To Take Them Off

Sometimes you wake up and all you want to do is reach for your favourite jumper. I have lots of those days. For me knitwear is a constant search, and I am always on the hunt for better, softer, cosier, cuter - the ultimate knitwear finds to covet. It's just a part of the wardrobe I really, really love. 

Thanks to jumper queen's Bella Freud and Zoe Karssen, the humble pullover has reached cult status in the fashion world. Here I'm dedicating this space to the ultimate edit of the best jumpers and sweaters out there.

Colour blocking is a fast track way to a retro, 60s feel that's a little bit sporty, a little bit Parisian.  This Topshop clean colour block sleeve jumper comes in green/white and black/white and is a lightweight knit smart and versatile enough to lift everything from denim to a pair of simple black trousers. 

Styled here with relaxed denim and car shoes, try it with dark indigo flared jeans to hammer home the retro feel or something a little more prim like a leather A-line skirt. The contrasting light green flashes on the cuffs and hemline really up the luxe factor.  

 Over at Boden zeroing in on their jersey sweatshirts and cashmere is a good way to go and will see you through every wardrobe eventuality.
